Wincanton Tennis Club

Wincanton Tennis Club are affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association and currently have around 140 members (80 adults and 60 juniors). They play on the 4 all weather courts with floodlights on the right side of the entrance drive and offer all levels of coaching and social play.

There are currently five teams which play in the following leagues:

• 2 mens - Yeovil League
• 1 ladies - Yeovil League
• 2 mixed - Shaftesbury League

Club Training Sessions:

• Monday mornings 10am-12pm
• Monday Evening 6.30pm – 8.30pm
• Wednesday Evenings 6.30 – 8.30pm
• Sunday Afternoons, 2.30 – 4.30pm
• Visitors welcome £2 per session.

NITE TO LITE

All night sponsored tennis

To raise funds for a new tennis hut, club members will be seeking sponsorship by playing tennis through the night. Visiting players and spectators very welcome. There will be an evening barbecue and bacon butties for breakfast.

Wincanton Tennis Club is keen to move forward following the positive resolution on the future of the Sports Ground and welcomes new members to enjoy the excellent facilities offered at the Moor Lane site.
